The kick off to each new semester, students, faculty, and staff gather for a variety of activities.
An annual event honoring CTU faculty for the books they have written. Books are available for purchase at a discount and faculty are available to autograph them.
Taste of CTU:
An annual ethnic food-fest and party to celebrate the different cultures and countries of origin of the CTU student body. Students are encouraged to wear their native dress, describe its origins, and share their customs.
Several times during the school year the community comes together for liturgy and/or prayer. These gatherings are open to all and students take an active part as planners, lecturers, musicians, singers, proclaimers of the Word, Eucharistic ministers, ushers, designing the environment, or presiders.
Each spring, students form teams and compete in a soccer tournament. All funds raised are donated to relief efforts for those affected by the 2010 Haiti earthquake.
Lectures on a variety of topics relevant to theology and ministry are offered throughout the year. Academic departments, and the Bernardin Center are among the sponsoring organizations. The speakers represent Catholicism and other Christian denominations, Judaism, and Islam.
