Ministers to young adults attend Catholics on Call conference

Catholics on Call hosted more than 120 vocation directors, campus ministers, volunteer directors, and others who minister to young adults to their annual Partner Conference on September 22 and 23, 2011. The two-day conference, Engaging Young Adults for Church Vocations, featured speakers who shared best practices of reaching out to young adults and encouraging them in their vocational discernment. Speakers included: Paul Jarzembowski, executive director of NCYAMA (National Catholic Young Adult Ministry Association);timone davis, director of ReCiL (Reclaiming Christ in Life), a ministry of the Office for Black Catholics of the Archdiocese of Chicago; Jorge Rivera, coordinator of Hispanic Young Adult Ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago; and Fr. Robin Ryan, C.P., founding director of Catholics on Call and vice-provincial of the Passionists, Eastern Province.  This annual conference offers Catholics on Call Partners up-to-date information and resources about ministering to young adults, as well as an opportunity to network, renew, and re-energize.  

The 2012 Catholics on Call Partner Conference will take place on September 20-21, 2012 at CTU. Dr. Susan K.
