Lectures and Events at CTU
Welcome to our community!
Throughout the year, CTU hosts a variety of events that we hope engage and nourish all who attend. For a complete listing of all events on the calendar at CTU, click on Campus Events.
Fall and Spring Lecture Series: Each series is made up of 11-12 lectures that take place mid-week at 7 p.m. The Fall series begins in early September and ends in December; the Spring series begins in February and ends in May.
Sundays at CTU: Offered four times per year. Lectures (3 p.m.) are given by CTU faculty or guest speakers. Liturgy and reception follows the lecture.
Additional lectures and symposia (2015):
The Louis J. Luzbetak Lecture (fall)
The Shapiro Lecture (fall and winter)
Duns Scotus (spring)
Art Exhibits at the Mary-Frances and Bill Veeck Art Gallery: Throughout the year CTU holds open houses to celebrate the works of featured artists. The purpose of the gallery is twofold: to nurture an appreciation for and understanding of art and to communicate truth through the senses and emotions.
The Blessed Are the Peacemakers Annual Trustee Dinner: The honoree of the 2015 Blessed are the Peacemakers Award is Dr. Paul Farmer. Event is Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
