Our first event about "Conversations We Must Have in Religious Life Today" took place at CTU on April 14 and was a great success. A variety of religious of different age groups and cultures engaged in table conversations about the following topics:

Please join us for CTU's Alumni Reunion on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 from 12:00pm (noon) until around 6:00pm at the CTU Academic and Conference Center at 5416 South Cornell Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 60615.

The events of the day will include lunch in the Mary-Frances and Bill Veeck Art Gallery followed by a reflection led by Robin Ryan, CP, on Pope Francis' Vision of the Church.

Any alumni who wish to do so may also attend the opening mass for the academic year - Mass of the Holy Spirit - at 4:30pm.

The Black Catholic Theological Symposium will be holding its 25th annual meeting at CTU October 9 - 12, 2014.  The annual public lecture  will be given by Dr. Kimberly Flint-Hamilton, Associate Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Stetson University in Deland, Fla.  The title of her lecture is: What we will be has not yet appeared (1John 3:2) - Black Catholic Scholarship, History and the Dynamics of Change. CTU President Fr. Mark R. Francis will give the opening welcome.

Making a Difference: A Course for Those Who Minister is an interfaith, three-day workshop for lay and ordained persons in ministry. The course runs from September 12-14, 2014 and costs $300. There is a $150 special rate for CTU Student.
