The CTU Committee on World Mission Presents the Nineteenth Annual World Mission Lecture.
Fr. Pio Estepa, SVD, will be lecturing about "Gospel-Bridging the Digital Divide: Headways and Hurdles for 'New Evangelization' Today."
Pio Estapa, SVD was ordained a priest in 1978. He has a master degree in philosophy (Divine Word Seminary, Tagaytay City, Philippines), a diploma in social communication and a doctorate in the social sciences (Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, Italy).
Management Skills for Ministry seminars focus on six significant areas of pastoral administration that are necessary in running any organization. Offered throughout the year, these seminars are for those in ministry and are taught in an interactive style by experts and practitioners in each field. Presenters offer foundational priniciples and give practical information for the following:
Thursday, Oct. 3, 4:30 p.m.: Sr. Sandra M. Schneiders, IHM, STD, professor emerita of New Testament Studies and Christian Spirituality, Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University, will speak on her new book: Buying the Field: Catholic Religious Life in Mission to the World. Sr. Sandra will talk about the change in the approach of religious concerning engagement with the world since Vatican II and what she sees as the meaning of this for the present and future.
