Catholics on Call Launches New Website

March 4, 2011

CHICAGO, IL, March 4, 2011– Catholics on Call, a national vocation discovery program for young adults, is pleased to announce the launch of their updated website at A program of Catholic Theological Union at Chicago, Catholics on Call assists young women and men who are seeking insight into what God is calling them to do with their lives.

This new website has been updated to provide increased access to spiritual and vocational resources – weekly Scripture reflections, book reviews, online retreats, website links, vocation reflections, event offerings – all designed to assist men and women of college and post-college age who are considering the possibility of a life of service in the Church as a lay minister, religious sister or brother, or priest. It also provides resources to adult mentors who are assisting young adults on their journey.

In addition to this website resource, Catholics on Call offers a four-day young adult conference each summer in Chicago – this year’s conference is scheduled for August 9-13, 2011. The summer program provides a relaxed, comfortable environment for personal discernment. In the company of like-minded young adults, participants pray together, share stories, meet outstanding ministers, learn discernment skills, and hear nationally-known speakers talk about how to listen to God’s call.
