CTU welcomes President-elect
Mark R. Francis, C.S.V.

"I am very appreciative of the support of the Board of Trustees and the other members of the CTU community who have placed their trust in me at this important moment in the life of CTU," President-elect Fr. Francis said.

"In a very special way I would like to thank Fr. Donald Senior for his wonderful leadership of the past 23 years. Building on what he has done and with the help of the CTU community I look forward to contributing to the continuing vitality of this school of ministry whose graduates have touched so many lives around the world. As we begin working with Pope Francis, the new Bishop of Rome, I affirm my commitment and that of CTU to prepare ministers for this Church that is inclusive, concerned for the poor, and open to the Spirit of God who continues to surprise us in revealing God's presence in the forgotten and marginalized of our society."

Search Committee

The Catholic Theological Union Presidential Search Committee includes members of the CTU faculty, Board of Trustees, and staff. The Search Committee welcomes candidate submissions until February 15, 2013.

Position Prospectus

The President is the chief executive, educational, and administrative officer of the school, and is immediately responsible to the Board of Trustees for the implementation of all policies and regulations of Catholic Theological Union.

Application Procedures

Those wishing to be considered for the presidency of Catholic Theological Union may submit their application documents via email or postal mail.
