Church in Mission: The Maryknoll Centennial Symposium

Please join us as we address the nature and future of the Church as “missionary”, exploring theological, social trends and other factors that have most influenced the Church’s missionary institutions and activities over the past century.  Lend your perspective as we strive to grasp the direct and indirect ways these trends impact those around the world, many of them desperately poor and vulnerable, who have welcomed missionaries into their communities and their lives.  Help us as we seek a better understanding of the ways in which mission is expected to shape the Church’s witness of the Gospel in our diverse and rapidly changing world.
