Please join us for the screening of A Question of Habit, a documentary that examines the wide variety of visual images of Catholic nuns and sisters used in contemporary U.S. culture. Over 30 women religious, cultural critics, historians and artists were interviewed including: Sr. Helen Prejean (Dead Man Walking), Tom Fontana (Oz, Homicide), Robert Orsi (Madonna of 115th Street). The film is narrated by Susan Sarandon.
Catholic Theological Union -- its programs, offices and library -- will be closed on Labor Day. The offices will open at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 6.

Established in 1946, the American Theological Library Association (ATLA) is a professional association of more than 1,000 individual, institutional, and affiliate members providing programs, products, and services in support of theological and religious studies libraries and librarians. ATLA's ecumenical membership represents many religious traditions and denominations.
The ATLA Annual Conference will take place in Chicago, June 8-11, 2011.
