Join us for a lecture and book signing by Bryan N. Massingale, author of Racial Justice and the Catholic Church. The lecture will begin at 4:00 p.m., with reception and book signing to follow at 5:30 p.m. This event is co-sponsored by the Archdiocese of Chicago Office for Racial Justice and the Historical and Doctrinal Studies Department of Catholic Theological Union.
Rev. Donald Senior, C.P., invites you to attend a Sunday afternoon experience of liturgy and learning.
On the Second Sunday of Advent, we will hear from Sr. Laurie Brink, O.P., Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies about, "The 'Good Enough' Family is the Holy Family: Reflections on Joseph in Matthew's Gospel."
The lecture will be followed by Sunday Eucharist with presider Rev. Roger Schroeder, S.V.D., Professor of Intercultural Ministries and Bishop Francis X. Ford, M.M., Chair of Catholic Missiology.
All are invited to stay after Mass for a reception.
