Dr. Kevin McClone is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified alcohol and other drug counselor who has worked for over twenty years in the counseling and health care fields. Kevin currently is the Director of the Institute for Sexuality Studies located on the campus of Catholic Theological Union where he has provided education, training, psychological testing, psychotherapy and religious formation consultation services on various dimensions of Human Sexuality to clergy, religious and lay men and women from around the world. He has been a keynote speaker both nationally and internationally on topics related to human sexuality, addictions, building healthy relationships and loss and grief.
Kevin currently teaches several courses at CTU: Developing Skills and Competencies for Cooperative Leadership, Pastoral Ministry with Contemporary Families, Pastoral Ministry in Healthcare Contexts and Healthy Human Sexuality for Pastoral Ministry. He has taught other graduate level classes such as Ministry to Persons and Families Struggling with Addictions, Ministry to the Dying and Grieving, Psychological Assessment, and Intercultural Communication among others. Kevin provides weekly seminars on various aspects of human formation to the Institute of Religious Formation. He teaches seminars on Emotional Intelligence and Sexuality for the Hesburgh Sabbatical Program.
Kevin has written numerous articles for clergy, religious and lay men and women on Human Sexuality, Healthy Relationships and Addictions in such journals as Touchtone, Human Development, Seminary Journal, and Horizon magazines.
