Grace Chen-McClone is an adjunct professor at Catholic Theological Union where she teaches Introduction to Pastoral Counseling and Human Sexuality for Pastoral Ministry. Grace is Co-Director of the Institute for Sexuality Studies whereshe is responsible for co-coordinating program of studies and teaching sexuality and spirituality seminars to clergy, religious, and lay men and women from around the world who participate in one month program on Human Sexuality Studies. Grace conducts Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) in Chinese Mandarin. She speaks Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese and English.
She received her M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University, Chicago. Her Clinical Internship was in Christ Hospital in Chicago. Her M.A. Thesis was entitled: "Contrasting Eastern & Western Concepts of Shame." She is a graduate from Fu Jen University Jesuit Seminary in Taipei, Taiwan R.O.C. She received Supervisory training in CPE at the University of Chicago Hospitals, and Hua Ming Pastoral Counseling Center in Taipei, Taiwan and supervised CPE students in both of these locations.
