A focus on Sor María Ana Águeda de San Ignacio (1695-1756)

Neomi DeAnda is a Tejana trained as a constructive theologian. Her primary research focuses on God Images, Imago Dei and Imago Christi in the work of Sor María Anna Águeda de San Ignacio (1695-1756). Her other research interests lie in the fields of Latin@ theologies and interdisciplinary theological and pedagogical methodologies. She holds a Ph.D. from Loyola University Chicago, and masters degrees in Theology and Educational Leadership as well as bachelors degrees in English and Psychology. She currently teaches in the Peace, Justice and Conflict Studies Program and the Religious Studies Department at DePaul University. She also teaches at the Catholic Theological Union.
