Biblical Study and Travel

At the Temple ruins, Jerusalem

CTU encourages students to experience and study theology through the lens of other cultures both in the classroom and Hyde Park and around the world.  Students may also choose to take their learning overseas through one of our Biblical Study and Travel Programs.

PLEASE NOTE: THE 2016 BIBLICAL STUDY AND TRAVEL TRIPS TO ISRAEL, PALESTINE, JORDAN, GREECE AND TURKEY HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. THE 2017 HOLY LAND RETREAT WILL TAKE PLACE.

The Biblical Study and Travel Programs offer you the opportunity to travel the lands of the Bible in academically-oriented programs. These learning experiences will both deepen your understanding of the Bible and foster your spiritual growth. Your experience is guided by members of CTU's world-renowned biblical faculty, noted for their skilled teaching, highly respected scholarship, and personal interest in their students. Click here for details.

The annual Fall Program is a time of study and exploration of biblical and historical sites in Greece, Turkey, Israel and the Palestinian Authority, and Jordan.  Other trips include the two-week Israel and Jordan Program and the Holy Land Retreat.

CTU offers two Biblical Study and Travel scholarships - Chiarelli Scholarship and Seeds Scholarship.  Click here for information.
