Spiritual Life

At Catholic Theological Union, we believe it is important to provide an environment of spiritual enrichment for this community of faith.

There are a range of opportunities available to help you grow in your faith and your spiritual walk while you are a student at CTU.

Prayer and Worship

The Assembly Hall/Chapel is on the 2nd floor of 5416 S. Cornell Ave. Please call for times and availability (773-371-5400). All are welcome.

There are also many opportunities during the school year for the entire community to come together for liturgy and/or prayer. These are open to all and students are encouraged to take an active part as planners, lecturers, musicians, singers, proclaimers of the Word, Eucharistic ministers, ushers, to design the environment, or presiders. Announcements of prayer services and liturgies are posted in the elevators, on the bulletin boards, and in the CTU School Calendar.

The many religious communities at CTU or in the Hyde Park neighborhood welcome your participation in their daily community liturgies.
