Outright Gifts of Cash (Checks, Credit Cards, Securities)

A gift of cash provides CTU with flexible funds that can be used or invested immediately. Cash gifts may also be pledged and paid out over a period of years. Gifts of Property

A gift of appreciated securities (such as stocks and bonds) or real estate creates both income tax and capital gains tax savings. Such gifts, which have appreciated in value, permit a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value. Antiques, artwork, jewelry, furniture, furnishings, and similar items are also appreciated as donations. 

Matching Gifts

Check with the personnel office at your place of work for a matching gift form and enclose it with your own contribution. 

Wills (Bequests)

Gifts by will are the most popular method of making a deferred gift to charity. Name Catholic Theological Union as a remainder beneficiary of your estate, or make a specific request to support our work. Request information now.
 

Life Insurance

You can name Catholic Theological Union as the primary beneficiary of your life insurance policy. A donor who wishes immediate tax benefits may wish to consider the irrevocable assignment of an insurance policy to Catholic Theological Union. Charitable Remainder Trusts and Annuities
